The third season of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) has been another successful one for PokerStars. Featuring previous tour stops in Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica and Uruguay, the tour is getting ready to finish the season with a bang, thanks the LAPT Argentina Grand Final. Being held from September 22nd through 26th at the City Centre Casino in Rosario, PokerStars is looking to create a hot event for its players by offering seats to the Main Event.
Starting on September 11th, PokerStars will be holding satellites and qualifiers with a total of 20 Main Event prize packages at stake. Each package is valued at $7,250 and includes the Main Event buy-in, hotel and spending money. The Saturday satellites on the 11th and 18th will each have a $530 buy-in and offer players five guaranteed seats for the event; the Sunday clashes will have a $700 buy-in and also award five lucky players with a seat in one of the biggest events of the LAPT season.
For players who don’t want to pay the buy-in, PokerStars is also offering qualifiers. These events have buy-ins for as little as $3.30 and can be found at the PokerStars lobby under the “Events” and “LAPT” tabs.
Players joining the fun at the LAPT Argentina will face the task of defeating PokerStars pro Jose “Nacho” Barbero. The Argentine has already won two times during Season 3, meaning that the 20 players who win a seat for the LAPT Argentina event can look to stop the tour’s top performer on his home turf.
