PokerStars WCOOP 20% Max $100 Reload Bonus CodeStepping away from the usual diet of Hold’em for Day 6, the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker mixed it up, thanks to some different tournaments. While Omaha still made the bill in Event 16, Single Draw and 8-Game joined the fun, drawing large crowds and each pushing past its guaranteed prize pool.

Event 16 – De Bluffer Rules Omaha

With no Hold’em on the schedule, it was no surprise that Friday’s biggest event was Pot Limit Omaha; what was surprising was that the popular tournament didn’t meet the $500,000 guarantee, meaning that the online poker room was left with a hefty $69,200 overlay.

With 2,154 players registered, “de bluffer” wasn’t fooling around, making his was through an all-star field that included PokerStars pros like Tom McEvoy, David Williams, Barry Greenstein, Bertrand Grospellier, Lex Veldhuis, Vanessa Rousso, Vicky Coren, Greg Raymer, and Chris Moneymaker. In the end, de bluffer took over the final table, picking up the top prize and the coveted WCOOP bracelet. The final table results and payouts were:

Event 17 – Big Draw Makes for Exciting Single Draw Event

The little event on the block in the WCOOP, the Single Draw event has the smallest guaranteed prize pool in the entire series. That didn’t faze anyone on Friday, as 367 players joined the $215 buy-in event to push past the $50K guaranteed and create an impressive $73,400 purse.

With Team PokerStars Online pro Steven Paul hosting, “cal42688” managed to overcome all challengers and take the exciting event. An 8th place finisher in Thursday’s Event 15, cal42688 wouldn’t be stopped at 8th place this time, taking the title and tournament bracelet. The final table results were:

Event 18 – Strong Turnout as 8-Game Crushes Prize Pool

With no Hold’em events to siphon off the players, Event 18, the 8-Game tournament put on an impressive performance as it drew 1,671 players to the $109 buy-in event. The huge turnout allowed the $167,100 prize pool to smash the $100K guaranteed, meaning that the players would be fighting for more that just the highly desired bracelet.

“icatchyou” seized the opportunity, entering the final table in third place, and then gradually built his stack, entering the heads-up as a slight leader over “cmarty3” and using Razz to oust his opponent. After a four-way chop, the final table results were:
