Poker Playing Actor Matt Damon Blessed with Full House

Hollywood superstar Matt Damon is one of a growing number of Tinseltown celebrities that enjoys the game of poker. Damon, playing in last weekend’s Ante Up for Africa charity tournament in Las Vegas, explained how he has been blessed with his own queen of hearts.

Playing in the tournament hosted by former “Ocean’s Eleven” co-host Don Cheadle, Damon admitted how he keeps the demands of family and work balanced. Crediting his wife Luciana, Damon said, “She really keeps it together. We just talk it out and work it all out.”

Luciana, who is from Argentina and is pregnant with the couple’s third child, helps her husband divide his time. “You say, this is the job and this is the time commitment and this is where it will be,” said Damon. “I’m a lot easier to hire if you’re doing movies in New York.”

When he is not playing poker or doing movies, Damon is probably with his family. Adding to his “full house” are Damon’s 4 year-old daughter Isabella and her 22 month-old sister Gia. He admits that they are all “very excited” about the newest member of the family, and says his daughters, “track its progress in mommy’s belly.”

While some people might think that all actors are lucky, Damon is one who is truly blessed. It’s not often in life that a man and his queen of hearts are dealt such a winning hand.
