Tonight is the last chance for poker players looking to win an entry into the European Masters of Poker Italy that starts on May 27th in Campione, Italy. Featured is the €1,100 buy-in Main Event, which is being held from May 28th to 30th at Casino de Campione in the mountain resort village of Campione, 60 km north of Milan.
Qualifiers for this event will conclude today on the Entraction Poker Network, with the final tournament scheduled to begin this evening at 8:40 pm CET. This Texas Hold’em event will have a buy-in of €100 and the game will feature five guaranteed €2,000 prize packages for the winners.
The European Masters of Poker Italy kicks off its events on May 27th with two tournaments. The first is a €300+30 buy-in, No Limit Texas Hold’em event. This deep stack tournament will allow players a generous 10,000 starting chips, with 30 minutes between levels. Also on May 27th, there will be a €300+30 buy-in mixed event, featuring Omaha, Texas Hold’em and Stud. This will also be a deep stack, with an incredible 15,000 in starting chips and 30 minutes between levels.
After the Main Event kicks off on May 28th, there will be two more tournaments, starting with €500+50 buy-in, No Limit Texas Hold’em contest on May 29th. Like the other events, this is also a deep stack tournament that will provide 10,000 starting chips, with 40 minutes between levels. Finally on May 30th, there will be a €200+20 Texas Hold’em showdown, with 8,000 in starting chips and a quicker 25 minutes between levels.
Organizers of European Masters of Poker Italy recommend that players who want to play but do not win their seats should purchase their entry as soon as possible. The Main Event is capped at 430 players and online registration ends tomorrow.
