“Sit ’n Go Strategy”
Expert Advice for Beating One-Table Poker Tournaments
by Collin Moshman
Some poker strategy books can be a tough read. Many times they are filled with so much abstract theory that beginners and non-mathematicians are lost rather quickly. And, while Collin Moshman’s “Sit ‘n Go Strategy” has its share of math and theory, he provides a significant amount of real world actual hand examples to illustrate his teachings. Yes, his discussions of things like The Independent Chip Model and various Fundamental Theorems are most certainly accompanied by algebraic hieroglyphics. However, his blind and position specific hand examples and analysis make even the most complex ideas easily understandable for those of us who tend to benefit more from practical application.
The Sit ‘n Go is a very specific tournament type about which very little has been written in terms of strategy. In that sense, Moshman’s SNG book is long overdue and right on target for online poker players favoring this particular format. With his amazing ability to combine theory with practical examples, Moshman will teach players to master expected value and tournament equity, distinguish between earning chips and earning money, develop a super aggressive late game style, exploit players through table selection and maximize your SNG profits.
Whether you’re a recreational Sit ‘n Go fan or serious about winning SNG tournaments, Collin Moshman’s “Sit’n Go Strategy” is as much of a must-read as Brunson’s “Super System” ever was. Learn more about this and other excellent poker books now in the Poker Room Review Online Bookstore.
